Durabase Walks on Water!
Terrafirma helps out EAE once again when they were faced with a submerged tower which required maintenance. Exactly how to undertake this maintenance with the utmost safety of engineers in mind was causing some concern until Terrafirma came up with a solution - Durabase has a honeycomb of air pockets and is therefore extremely boyant and completely sealed! Electricity Alliance East
The challenge for Terrafirma Roadways was to develop a safe way of working without using a truck mounted crane that could encroach the safety zone. They relished the opportunity to show their engineering superiority to overcome their customers’ predicament. Hugh Robertson and his team developed the Terra Multi Grab (TMG).
